Hope everyone celebrated a fun-filled Diwali! We're extending the festive season celebration to a beautiful evening of Indian classical Music & Dance,
on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 6:15 pm
Fredric March Playcircle Theater,
800 Langdon St. Madison, WI 53706
This concert is being presented by Indian Music Circle of Wisconsin, Indian Graduate Students' Association & Madison Area Indian Music Schools.
The highlight of the evening is at 7:30 pm, a Carnatic Music Concert by:
Roopa Mahadevan (Vocal), a disciple of renowned musician Smt Suguna Varadachari at 7:15 pm.
Tejas Mallela (Violin) a disciple of Kalaimamani A. Kanyakumari
Athrey Nadhan (Mridangam) disciple of Srimushnam V Raja Rao
The main event will be preceded by beautiful and mesmerizing Indian classical music & dance performances by IGSA students, Madison Area Indian Music School students and other talented artistes in Madison. These performances will begin at 6:15 pm.
This concert is a FREE Concert. However, any donations will be very valuable and help us in recovering the costs of this concert. Suggested Donation $10.
